Farewell 2022-2023

by Amanda Chambers and Elysa Ellis, '22-'23 President and Vice President

A letter to our GCS Moms League Community,

As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, we can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering support and dedication of our incredible leadership team and all of our members. It is with immense pride that we, Amanda Chambers and Elysa Ellis, as President and Vice President of GCS Moms League, write this blog post to express our heartfelt appreciation for an extraordinary year of achievements and community building.

When we embarked on this journey together last Spring, we had high hopes and ambitious goals. Little did we know that our expectations would not only be met but surpassed in the most exceptional ways. The GCS Moms League community has truly shone brightly, and we owe it all to you.

Throughout the year, we organized and hosted an astonishing 240 events, providing countless opportunities for moms to connect, learn, and grow. From informative breakfast socials with engaging speakers to fun-filled family events and heartwarming charitable initiatives, we were constantly amazed by the enthusiasm and active participation of our members. Your eagerness to contribute ideas, share experiences, and foster an inclusive environment made each event a resounding success.

In addition to the incredible camaraderie within our community, we are ecstatic to announce that together, we raised a record-breaking sum of over $80,000 for our charity partner, The Stepping Stones Foundation. This remarkable feat speaks volumes about the compassion and generosity of the GCS Moms League members! The impact we have made on the lives of those in need is immeasurable, and we are truly humbled by your collective commitment to making the world a better place.

Not only did our events and fundraising efforts flourish, but we also witnessed an unprecedented surge in membership. With over 350 members, our league has grown into a vibrant and diverse community of mothers, united by a common purpose: to support, uplift, and inspire one another. Each new member brings a unique perspective and enriches our collective experience, reminding us of the strength and power that lies within our unity.

As we reflect on this extraordinary year, we want to express our deepest gratitude to every member of GCS Moms League. Your unwavering dedication, passion, and unwavering support have made our roles as President and Vice President an absolute honor. Your commitment to creating a nurturing and empowering community for moms is truly inspiring.

With summer approaching, we hope that each and every one of you takes the time to relax, rejuvenate, and spend quality moments with your loved ones. You have earned this break and deserve to bask in the warmth and joy that summer brings. We encourage you to stay connected, reach out to fellow members, and cherish the friendships that have blossomed within our league.

As we step aside from our leadership positions, we do so with immense gratitude for the privilege of serving this incredible community. We have been moved by your stories, inspired by your resilience, and touched by the countless acts of kindness we have witnessed. The impact you have made on one another's lives and the broader community is immeasurable.

Thank you, GCS Moms League members, for an unforgettable year filled with growth, unity, and love. It is your unwavering support and dedication that make our league the exceptional organization that it is. As we look ahead to the future, we are excited to witness the continued success and growth of this remarkable community.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer filled with warmth, laughter, and beautiful memories. We are forever grateful for the privilege of serving as President and Vice President of GCS Moms League. You will certainly continue to see us at community events and behind the scenes with the league. We are looking forward to a great future for GCS Moms League and we are honored to pass the torch to the incoming leadership team!

With heartfelt appreciation,
