Welcome, from Morgan Hickey and Casey Dodd, your GCS Moms League Fit Club Leaders! We are excited to workout together while we navigate through these strange times. This year will look a little different, but we plan to still get healthy and grow together.
We've planned some small, in-person workouts and will continue online workouts as well! We are busy planning kids yoga, paddle board yoga, goat yoga, and fitness in the park. We are always open to new ideas that you’d be interesting in doing, so please send them our way!
A little about us since we haven't been able to meet in person yet!
Casey is originally from North Carolina where she grew up playing basketball, soccer, volleyball and golf for school and traveling teams. She loves being outside hiking, skiing and just enjoying the day! Some things she looks forward to hopefully trying with the fit club this year are paddle board yoga, goat yoga, and rock climbing! Casey has a son who is 23 months and a daughter who is 7 months.
Morgan is originally from St. Louis, was a runner in school, and spent her free time playing street hockey and flying. Her first job was in the fitness center at the YMCA where she found interest in body building and power lifting. Since then, she has worked in all facets of group fitness, personal training, circus training, and gym management. She is also a 200hr RYT yogi with over 20 years of experience teaching and practicing yoga. Morgan enjoys being outside, or freezing at the hockey rink. She has two boys (8 & 6) who play ice hockey, and a daughter (4). Morgan’s goal for GCSML for the year is to bring new, exciting, and all-encompassing health experiences to our members and families.
