Stepping Stones Foundation
mission
Stepping Stones Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to serving youth in crisis throughout North Texas by providing access to emergency housing, food, clothing and medical care as well as offering an array of programs and services aimed to empower and instill the necessary tools to make positive life choices.
How Stepping Stones Foundation Started
Christina Bynum-Breaux took a handful of local kids that were considered "at risk" and became their mentor in 1999. After taking these kids into her home for days, weeks, and sometimes years, she watched as they broke the cycle of abuse and neglect, to become successful adults. Due to the success of the first group of girls she mentored, Christina founded Stepping Stones Foundation in 2009 to continue her mission. To date, the Foundation has impacted the course of more than 2,200 local children's lives.
Our Fundraising Goal
Through the gracious donations and the Live and Silent Auctions held upon the night of The Great Gala, it is our earnest hope to raise $100,000 in support of the Stepping Stones Foundation.
